Research Software Engineer

As of 2025 I am working as a Research Software Engineer at the University of Bath. See our group website.

Prior to this I spent 3 years as an RSE with the Exeter Uni RSA group.

Past Career

Acoustic Engineer

I worked as a KTP Associate, then full-time employee, for Seiche Ltd. My work mainly involved underwater acoustic modelling, predicting impacts on marine life, and analysing audio recordings taken within the ocean environment.

The academic supervisors for the KTP were Dr. Philippe Blondel and Prof. Manuchehr Soleimani.

Education

Prior to joining Seiche, I completed my PhD with the University of Bath and the UK Met Office, under the joint supervision of Prof. Chris Budd and Dr. Thomas Melvin
